work with clients of all ages and some of our clients have a range of disabilities.

The Opportunity

We have an opening for a casual professional organiser. We will consider those without
experience, should they have experience working within aged care, or the disability sector, or can
demonstrate their organisational skills.

A Professional Organiser improves the efficiency of homes, whether it be a pantry makeover, or a
decluttered and organised garage. Some clients may have chronic disorganisation, which
includes clients who like to hoard.

We purchase and recommend storage solutions according to the space and purpose. We
support our clients to make good decisions and suggest and implement ideas and systems that
can be maintained.

Duties:-
 Provide a clear vision to your client, understand their goals
 Decluttering and organising of space
 Measuring, sourcing (if required) storage solutions
 Designing of a space (pantry for example)
 Re-arranging of furniture to make a room functional
 Listening and Coaching clients
 Lifting and Packing client belongings
 Emotional support to clients
 Labelling
 Travelling to client locations, storage unit or Glenbrook base
 Support our NDIS clients that may have limited abilities
 Maintain a safe work space at all times for you, your colleagues and your client

 Provide client consultations

Qualities
In order to be a successful Professional Organiser, you must have the following personal
qualities:-
Passionate, Empathetic, Problem Solver, Team Player, People person, Good Listener, Good
Communicator, Non judgemental, Open Minded, Empathetic, Respectful.

You will need to have:-
 Own car and unrestricted driving license (car large enough for storage)
 Smartphone
 Computer for online learning
 Police Check
 Working with children’s check

Ideal Candidate
Our ideal Organiser will be passionate about helping people achieve their goals, and get excited
doing it. Someone who will think outside the box to get the job done so their client can lead a
more functional life.
Our ideal person will also take the time to listen to the client, and understand their needs, and
have a friendly persona that our clients feel comfortable confiding in, as this can sometimes be
distressing to them.We want someone that is extremely reliable and punctual, and is a good communicator and team
player.

Things you should know
This is a physical job, and heavy lifting is often required.
You will work with clients and participants from all ages, disabilities and backgrounds.
The person that takes on this role must be extremely flexible, and be able to travel to head office
in Glenbrook for early starts when required.
You will be working within an energetic team, and must be a team player.
You will work in homes in ALL conditions. Please be prepared that some homes may not be as
clean as what you are used to. You must be comfortable with this, and not be judgemental.
We expect a clean and professional appearance as you will be representing the company.
